I had always wondered how a person could just get up at 4 or 5 in the morning, run for multiple hours and love it. I just couldn’t understand it until I became that person. I work in IT and my job involves extensive travel so a lot of my runs during the week are on the treadmill and the longer runs are mostly with Hyderabad Runners or inside BHEL. I have done about 22+ HM's till date (official/unofficial) and 1 FM. My HM PB: 1:40 (Club Run 2018), FM PB: 3:28 (Brighton Marathon 2018). I have been an active runner ever since I discovered this new passion in 2016. It has lead me to run 2 full marathons (Hyderabad & Mumbai Marathon), 4 half marathons like Club Run & Satara hill half marathon and several 10Ks. I love setting and achieving new goals and want to help others do the same. My 10K PB is 50mins.

I started my running journey with AHM 2015 with 3km run where I was not even aware there exists half marathon, full marathon and ultra marathon. I did my 1st 10k in Pinkathon Hyderabad 2016 and My debut half marathon in AHM 2016.There after I did 15 official half marathons in Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, cochin, Satara, INA marathon, Auroville marathon and one ultra marathon (25k) I was never a sports person in life before I took up running as my sports Now running has become my passion and I’m addicted to it...I believe with discipline , dedication and determination, you can achieve anything . Hi, my name is Snehal. I have always been an avid walker and practice yoga regularly to keep me fit and healthy. I took up long distance running a couple of years ago. Being part of vibrant Hyderabad Runners community motivated me and I improved gradually as a runner. I ran my first half marathon in SCMM 2016. Subsequently, I won a first place podium finish at Bhatti Lakes 20K in October 2016. I ran my first Full Marathon in SCMM 2017. My half marathon PB is 2:01, and 10K PB is 57 min. What started as treadmill running to remain fit turned out to be a cherished activity that propelled me to run several Half/Marathons besides having the privilege of running in all 5 continents. I’m based out of Hyderabad and I’m an entrepreneur-incubator-investor and an ex-Googler (where I was part of the founding team of Google Maps!!) Perhaps that's what makes me the unofficial 'route-maker' for my running group as I keep discovering newer running routes. Some day, I hope to run a full marathon and finish a Triathlon with my 13 year old daughter. I’m expecting many first timers to be in the 1:30 bus.
